One of the good things about working in a service center is we can pass on tips to drivers to help them save money on repairs. By being able to identify the warning signs the car battery may be failing, you can drive to get it replaced and not be stuck somewhere needing a tow.

Here are some of the warning signs your car battery may be failing:
  • The battery indicator light keeps flashing on the instrument panel.
  • The car cranks very slow each morning.
  • The battery compartment has a strange smell and appears to be swollen.
  • Each time you start the car, the headlights appear very dim.
  • Interior lights flicker while you are driving.
If you see one or more of these warning signs, drive over to our service center and one of our technicians can do an inspection of the battery and take care of the issue in a timely manner.
