On Friday, June 10, Pruitt Ford in Burkburnett celebrated being named a winner of the prestigious 2015 Ford President’s Award. For the occasion, the entire staff enjoyed a steak luncheon catered by Texas Roadhouse. This is the second year in a row that the dealership has earned this honor.
Rik Lipscomb, the owner of the dealership, said, “I want to thank everyone associated with Pruitt Ford for their hard work and dedication to serving our customers. This honor is a reflection on each and every one of them. It also means our customers recognize the quality service they receive when they shop for all their transportation needs at our dealership.”
General Sales Manager Jeff Kindt added, “We are truly excited to win this award for the second straight year. We are proud of our entire sales and service team!”
Norma Conrad, a regional service manager for the Dallas zone, said, “Pruitt Ford achieved 200 percent of their sales expectancy in 2015. They were one of only 13 dealerships out of 181 dealers to achieve the 200 percent of goal figure.”
She added, “To win this award a dealership must excel in customer service and continuously deliver on what it promises. That Pruitt Ford excels at both is shown in its exceptionally high scores on CSI (customer service index) from its customers. Only 25 dealerships throughout Texas earned this award in 2015.”
Besides Conrad, other Ford dignitaries attending the awards presentation included Ford Parts & Service Operations Manager Tim O’Loughlin, Ford Sales Operations Manager Heather Clark, Ford Zone Service Manager Tiffany Mathew, Ford Zone Sales Manager Erik Kuper, and Ford Consumer Experience Movement Coach Dwain Kester.
O’Loughlin noted, “This is one of the most prestigious awards given to a dealership. Less than five percent of Ford dealerships nationwide have the opportunity to win this award. It takes everyone working together, providing superior customer handling and a superior customer experience. This store does a phenomenal job. That is shown by its exceeding its expected market sales by 200 percent.
“Dealerships like Pruitt Ford are the face of Ford. We are so proud of them winning this award for the second year in a row.”
Conrad added, “Their customers are really the ones giving this award. Since it includes the sales and service experience, this shows that everyone at Pruitt Ford is doing a tremendous job of satisfying their customers.”
The award is based on surveys for both sales and service. Pruitt Ford Parts & Service Director Yoshi Fukasawa noted, “The award tells us that we are meeting the expectations of our customers for quality service both in the sales process and in the follow-up service to each customer and their vehicle.”
Kindt added, “We really stress customer service in every aspect of the sales and service process. Our ultimate goal when someone walks through the door at Pruitt Ford is to create a customer for life.”
During the luncheon, Ford Employee Excellence Awards were presented to Richard Lightner, Tommy Popejoy and Jay Black. Lucy White also was presented with a plaque honoring her as Pruitt Ford’s “Employee of the Month.”
In addition to Jeff Kindt, the sales staff includes Used Car Sales Manager Marty Mullins and Monty Hawthorne; Finance Managers Chuck Brown, Chuck Zotz, and Robert Hicks; Internet Director Andy Thornton; and salespersons John Stewart, Charlie Burns, Pat Wyatt, Richard Lightner, Tommy Popejoy, Jeremy Bynum, Jay Black, Jeff Turner, Bill Lindenborn, Russell Hill, Rod Gilley. Lucy White is the receptionist.
In addition to Yoshi Fukasawa, the Parts and Service Department is staffed by Parts Manager Joe Johnson, Service Advisers Phil Moulton and Darren Cunningham; Warranty Adviser Kyla Cummins; service technicians Donny Cox, Quade Brewer, Mitchell Armstrong, Thomas Emro, Mark Roberts, Zack Shipley and Ira Armstrong; and Quick Lube Specialists Jeff Pike and Jacob Vasquez.
Sales hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Service hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
