Last November, Ford Motor Company teamed up with Blue Hive Brazil and team Detroit to empower fans to put an end to "liking and driving." With it being throwback Thursday and all, we wanted to shift your attention back to the powerful PSA campaign.
"We want to jump in the social conversation about the risks of using cellphones while driving," Blue Hive executive creative director Vico Benevides told Adweek. "The icon of a heart hiding the people in the streets seems to be the perfect image to deliver the message. Simple and powerful." We couldn't agree more.
To deliver this message, Ford and its team transformed their famous "Go Further" slogan into the "Go Further Responsibility" to promote awareness on the danger of browsing social media platforms, like Instagram, while driving. Each photo, for example, shows a person crossing the road at risk of being compromised by a driver distracted by Instagram. That said, we wanted to remind all of our beloved readers to please, don't like and drive.
