Basic training; San Diego

Rank; 2nd Class Boiler man

Deployments; Vietnam, serviced in 5 different ships

Monty enjoyed traveling the sea, especially swimming in the ocean. He was able to see beautiful
scenery of the sea animals. Monty’s grandson has also followed his footsteps; he is current in the
Air Force. Has a plan to make a good career.
